When I look back on September 11, 2001 I don't recall very much about the actual suicide attacks on the world trade center. I was very selfish then, as most three year-olds are, and only remember how the event effected me. That day I was at preschool and I remember that they let us out early that day and we got to sit outside on the sidewalk waiting for our parents to pick us up. I was happy because I got to sit next to my best friend and we found a lady bug. I was slightly confused because my mom didn't come to pick me up, but instead my best friends mother took me home that day, and after I got home my mom seemed very flustered. This is where my memory ends.

The suicide attacks on September 11, 2001 was a horrid event and many innocent people were killed. It was a horrible act of terrorism and was one of the blackest days in America's history. It was a terrible tragedy and affected many people.

A montage of eight images depicting, from top to bottom, the World Trade Center towers burning, the collapsed section of the Pentagon, the impact explosion in the south tower, a rescue worker standing in front of rubble of the collapsed towers, an excavator unearthing a smashed jet engine, three frames of video depicting airplane impacting the Pentagon.
